The planned celebration will be a 2-day overnight at the southwest part of Cebu, Ginatilan. At 9 in the morning of May 21, 2016, we rode off from our usual meetup place in Honda Philippines, Inc. Lahug, Cebu Office.
We had our lunch at the Molave Milk Station in Barili, Cebu. After a few minutes of rest, we proceed to Ginatilan.
Ginatilan is almost at the southernmost town of Cebu so we didn't wasted any time going there. We arrived at Ka Eling's Beach House in Ginatilan around 3 in the afternoon. We immediately prepared the place for our celebration.
The ladies prepared the dining area as well as some minute arrangements.
While the gents prepared the kitchen, err does the cooking and stuffs.
While we can't all help in the preparation, some of us went to the videoke directly and sang our hearts out. Others went to the beach immediately to swim while some just wanted to roam around the place.
The beach is not your typical white sand beach but with pebbles and the water is still pristine and clear. We had a shot with the sunset but because the sky was cloudy that day, the colors weren't that great.
At night, it's dinner time. We have been blessed to be supported by our sponsors and never failed to give us something to put on our table, especially Cebu's infamous lechon.
After dinner, we had one of the most fun in our lives. We had games, question and answers and of course with prizes, thanks to our sponsors. We also have the newbies to the club speak about themselves, we have three of them where one is the only lady rider who joined in this anniversary.
After the fun and games, videoke took all of us to enjoy the rest of the night until dawn. Others prefer a night session at the beach with drinks.
Early in the morning, the drinking session continued.
Before noon time, we prepared ourselves to ride. We planned to have a round-south ride of Cebu island. It was another successful event as always with the Cebu Scoopy Club. Every year, new faces come while some old faces go, and yet we still remain as family.
Ginatilan was awesome. I think it's one of Cebu's best yet mostly overlooked tourist destination because of the popular nearby towns.
