Nice roads heading to Moalboal from Barili.

After we trekked the nice roads of Carcar-Barili, we found ourselves in the roads of Dumanjug, Ronda, Alcantara and finally Moalboal. It was quite a longer trip than we expected. We thought Moalboal was relatively near in Barili but it was not. The roads from Barili to Moalboal were really nice so we enjoyed the road trip really well. Nice sceneries, fresh air, no traffic.

So when we were in Moalboal, we thought, "This is it. We will spend our summer vacation here."

We heard that Moalboal has some really nice white sand beaches. We heard a lot of good things about the beaches there and we were really disappointed that it was not the case. We went to the Panagsama Beaches and we didn't see the white sand beaches advertised by our friends. Instead, we saw rocky shorelines and not really attracting beaches there. We thought, where's the craze about this town? There were no beautiful beaches.

We found out that the nice beaches were actually in Basdaku. Panagsama was in Basdiyot where it's main attraction was diving. And we found that out when we already completed our summer vacation. But, we did visited Basdaku during our Cebu Scoopy Club Anniversary and yes, the beaches at Basdaku were amazing!

So we continued heading south and we instead would like to go Kawasan Falls in Badian. But that is another post. :)
